Seminars

The interdisciplinary team of Mechanics and Materials researchers includes expertise in mechanics, materials, biomedical engineering and applied mathematics. The faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students meet weekly for informal presentations and discussions held in a working seminar format. Presentations are given on topics such as recent research projects, tutorials in mechanics and materials, and professional development issues. Students have the opportunity to learn about current research in mechanics and materials and present their own research.
